Our menu revisits typical Valtenesi restaurant dishes with a focus on enhancing the simplest ingredients such as garden vegetables, local dairy products and baked goods. To indulge in a meal at the Pratello restaurant is to take a journey filled with wonder and inspiration through the flavours of the place and the heady aromas of the Lombardy grape varieties: the adventure begins with an aperitif that marks the entrance to the wine bar, followed by a selection of starters that combine the fresh produce from the bakery corner with the unmissable delights of the kitchen garden, such as garden vegetables and fried and baked vegetables, and the masterpieces of the local dairy and livestock farms.
The first courses, fresh and carefully made, smooth the first impressions of taste and prepare them for the explosion of the second courses, tasty meat dishes accompanied by special side dishes such as polenta made from Spinoso black corn. Homemade desserts are served in the company of coffee and local grappa, which conclude the experience by rounding off the meal with a final wave of aromas. All ingredients are carefully selected from the best local raw materials, and to a large extent are the fruit of our own work and energy: seasonal vegetables grown on site, extra virgin olive oil from the farm’s own olive groves, fresh eggs and jams prepared by hand with passion.
